Woodview Boxers is owned and operated by Molly Bachman and Mary Jane Bedwell. Our boxers are raised and trained on our scenic three-acre kennel located in
Ellettsville Indiana, adjacent to Bloomington, home of Indiana University.
Founded in 1985 with the purchase of our first Boxer, we have since raised
and shown more than a dozen Boxers.
Our "dog of a lifetime" is Jake, CH. Debut's Desperado, CD, SOM. He has sired 11 champions, to date.
We currently have 3 of our Champions living here , Brett, (9 years), Larry, (5 years), and Whoopie (4 years).
While we concentrate on Conformation dogs, we have also trained dogs for
Obedience. Jake was handled by Molly to his Companion Dog award.
Our Philosophy
Woodview Boxers is in existence to further the Boxer breed in health, as well
as beauty and brains. We feel a gorgeous Boxer is only as good as the
structure and longevity inside him. So we have instituted a routine of
testing all our breeding dogs, as well as some offspring that are in
wonderful pet homes, with all the common tests available to us. We especially
are proud to have our dogs included in the Ohio State BCM study.
We don't do much breeding. We wish to remain small, and so we only keep the
boxers we think are the best of our breeding.
Woodview Boxers is a proud member of the American Boxer Club, Mid-West Boxer
Club, and Bloomington Indiana Kennel Club.
